How it works

What you can do
Compress images
Pick a quality preset between 55 and 95, or drag the slider. JPEG and WebP output cuts file size sharply; PNG keeps transparency.
Resize a whole batch
Set a long edge, scale by percentage, or type an exact width and height. Choose one size and every image in the batch is scaled to it, with the aspect ratio locked by default.
Convert between formats
Bring in JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, GIF or HEIC, and export JPEG, PNG or WebP. Transparent areas are filled with white when you export to JPEG.
Add watermarks
Overlay text or your own logo, place it in any of nine positions, then set opacity, rotation, margin and tiling to cover a whole batch in one pass.
Where your images go
Nowhere. There is no upload step and no server-side processing — the browser decodes, resizes, compresses and encodes every file on your own machine. Close the tab and nothing is left behind: no account, no email address, no stored files.

Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Files are read and processed locally in the browser. They are never sent anywhere, and they disappear when you close or reload the page.
How many images can I process at once?
There is no hard limit, but a batch of much more than 100 images takes longer and uses more memory, since every file is held in the tab while it is processed.
Which image formats are supported?
You can bring in JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, GIF and HEIC, and export JPEG, PNG or WebP. For GIF only the first frame is processed, and HEIC depends on whether your browser can decode it.
Can I watermark a whole folder?
Yes. Turn the watermark on, choose text or an image, set the position, opacity, rotation and margin, and the same watermark is applied to every image in the batch in one pass.
